But in principle, engaging in war to free the oppressed–a war in which innocent people are inadvertently killed–is a different matter. Just ask any Jewish person you know who was in a concentration camp.
We have it so good (freedom wise) in this country that we forget how valuable freedom is to the human spirit. But there's a reason why people all over the world throughout history have given their lives in the pursuit of freedom. They put their freedom above food, comfort, and even their lives. You can take a look at this to see what Iraq was like before we got there.
