Not only is this one of my favorite Christmas songs, but the line “A thrill of hope” is one of my favorite lines in any song! It always gives me chills. And I had the exact same thought about this scene at the end of Two Towers! I’ve actually been working on a Christmas blog post for the last two years (and by “working on” of course I mean “I have an idea that I haven’t spent much time fleshing out” haha), and I want to title it “A Thrill Of Hope.” I was going to use this Two Towers scene as an illustration, but now I’ll have to come up with something else! 😛
