I'm afraid the analogy doesn't hold, Tommy. Little League Teams don't typically convert people to false religions or worship false gods. BYU isn't having a sporting event that requires overflow parking. Mariners is explicitly aiding in the evangelistic efforts of the LDS church to convert people to a Jesus who can't save them, while also prohibiting other Christians from passing out discerning literature during the week. Mariners is reaching out, but in a way entirely antithetical to the Gospel Jesus taught.

I feel that you are all looking at this the wrong way. We are reaching out to our local community. If a local little league team was needing a place to have parking, we would open up our parking lot to them. I feel that this is the same sort of situation, just with the Mormon Church.

People have been discussing this with the leaders at Mariners since June, the temple didn't open until July 23rd (last Saturday). It doesn't take much research to find out who Bill McKeever is and what he's about, but it's not clear to me that they care. They've spent plenty of time discussing the issue with numerous people about it (including someone they trust who's taught there). Time's definitely not the issue.

I think the best thing would be for them to partner with the experience ministers already trying to work there, but at the very least they should simply allow them on their property.

What if they don't have time to evaluate whether these guys are wack jobs, would you have them allow anyone to come and minister on their parkinglot, even if their methods conflict with the values of your congregation?

I think I was quite clear about what should be done David. By prohibiting other Christians from being on their property Mariners has effectively shut down any effective ministry to those visiting the temple. I think the best thing would be for them to partner with the experience ministers already trying to work there, but at the very least they should simply allow them on their property.
"A", I would argue, is the best option. The tremendous opportunity to proclaim the Gospel to the people coming through is too great to pass up. However, if witnessing is not an option, "B" would be best because in allowing them to use the parking lot I would be helping the Mormons convert people to a false Christ.

So if you were tha pastor at one of these churches, you would:
A) Let them use your lot, but only if you could "whitness" to them?
B) Not let them use your lot, because that would prevent what exactly?
C) Comething I haven't thought of.
A) seems a bit too carrot and stick to me, and B) dose not seem to be consistent with the "love your neighbor" thing.
I hear what your saying, and I think you have a good point, but please do more then complain; offer a suggestion for improvement for the actual situation.
