Roger,

I appreciate the list and I wanted to add a couple more relief agencies that may not get as much press, though they do great work.

1. Medical Teams International is an organization much like Doctors Without Borders but with a strong commitment to Christian principles. Visit them at http://www.medicalteams.org/sf/Home.aspx

2. Samaritan's Purse is an organization headed by Franklin Graham, Billy Graham's son who has been providing relief efforts for some time. They're reacting to the Japan crisis - and they're still in Haiti helping people there. http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/articles/pray_for_japan/

3. Don't forget one of the oldest organizations, The Salvation Army. Those Red Kettles are put out a Christmas time so they can react to tragedies like this. http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/www_usn_2.nsf
