Tim, I'm shocked by your criticism. You're too concerned about the usual categories of CAPVAH vs. ADHOC. Why do we have to choose one or the other? Do all positions have to lie between those two points? We need to stop pigeonholing the people who are all in this together, and look beyond the labels and categories to a position that is above and beyond both of them.
The people in both CAPVAH and ADHOC are driving outsiders to Hasselhoff more and more every day. Perhaps we should both go with CCWF--Concerned Citizens With Hasselhoff. They're far more inclusive--people aren't expected to reject Hasselhoff as a qualification for joining the community, although they often end up rejecting him after they see how sincere and loving the members are towards them.

The people in both CAPVAH and ADHOC are driving outsiders to Hasselhoff more and more every day. Perhaps we should both go with CCWF–Concerned Citizens With Hasselhoff.
With all due respect, Amy, the CAPVAH position is quite limited in its scope by opposing merely public vocal appearances made by Hasselhoff. If the founders of CAPVAH were less influenced by postmodern tolerance and more disturbed by the gravity (yes, I realize gravity is a "modern" idea) of the situation, perhaps they would have a fuller stance such as that of the American David Hasselhoff Opposition Committee (which is an ad hoc committee), which opposes ALL appearances by David Hasselhoff, public or not, vocal or not. Until the people of CAPVAH accept the need for a revolution, they (you) risk being left behind.
