Well, if you read what I said- I did not say Israel is "solely good" while the Palestinians are "solely bad." Obviously neither side is perfect. However, Israel does not elect terrorists into government. Palestinians overwhelming voted in Hamas. I'm not sure how you can say that some members of Palestinian government aren't connected to Hamas when Hamas is government. That's as connected as one can get. The more of these people Israel takes out, the better. Unfortunately, there will be some people punished who shouldn't be, but that happens even in our American justice system. It's the consequence of being in a falling world where we can't always gather all the information necessary to be completely just. But something must be done out of defense against a government (and the people who elected it) that repeatedly attacks a sovereign state. Israel isn't obligated to sit back and take missile attacks from its neighbor; it's obligated to protect its citizens.

It would be constructive to at least understand the other half of the argument and its supporting evidence. One June 24, the day before Gilad Shalit was abducted, the IDF entered Gaza (what is supposed to be an autonomous state) and captured Osama and Mustafa Muamar, a doctor and law student respectively (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5112846.stm). Ali Muamar, the father of the two brothers, was blindfolded and beaten by the IDF. He spent several days in the hospital. The Muamars are only two of 9,153 Palestinians held by civilian and military authorities, but only 8,085 are in civilian jails, of which 2,384 have never been charged with a crime. The remaining 1068 are in military prisons. An additional 645 are held in “administrative detention,” none of which are charged with anything. Numbers compiled by Palestinians are very similar. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/5211930.stm
Furthermore, Israel abducted the Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Duwaik, in his pyjamas August 6 at about 4:00 (typical Israeli style). He did not resist as he was handcuffed and blindfolded and taken into Israel. Israel had detained 64 other leading politicians, including 8 ministers in the Gaza government and 26 lawmakers not associated with Hamas. According to Palestinian PM Mahmoud Abbas, elected members of the government have been abducted by Israel or are in hiding. In all, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims that Israel has abducted more than 600 Palestinians since the abduction of Gilad Shalit.

I am afraid that your sentiments are a gross oversimplification of the situation. One site is not solely good while the other is solely bad.
