Ah, well. The expense, I suppose, would have been enough to prohibit my attendance nonetheless.
I met Dr. Walter Hooper during another C.S. Lewis-themed conference at Wheaton College and found him a fanscinating man, quite willing to converse about all manner of subjects relating to Lewis and philosophy. He was even reluctant to leave the discussion when his somewhat-exasperated event “handlers” wanted him to. 😀
