Apparently some atheists think the argument does a great job of proving the ID arguments wrong, so Dr. Richards simply pointed out that their &quot;spontaneous market order&quot; argument doesn&#039;t say anything about whether or not God could have designed it.
I&#039;m not familiar with how Hayek defined chaos, but you&#039;re on to another problem with the jump between a biological-evolution argument and an economic-spontaneous one. In biology, supposedly, nature is making the selections and the individual organisms are not making the evolutionary decisions. Economics does depend on intelligent individuals making decisions to better their situation.]]></description>
