Reconstructionism does have its influence more around in the Bible belt than outside of it, at least from what I understand.  It had also gained some ground in getting its books out more in the mainstream a few years back, but I haven&#039;t heard much since.  The influence is there, but with the death of R. J. Rushdoony, the influence of neo-orthodoxy on Andrew Sandlin, and the controversy of the Auburn Avenue Conference, the Christian Reconstruction movement has weakened quite a bit.]]></description>
