Very nice. I heard there's a 24 movie in the works for 2007 or 2008. I really need to get a hold of the first season.

    The last is my favorite.

Are you sure they didn't mean the movie was going to start in 2007 and end in 2008? Seems to me the whole “24″ idea is…24 hours. Unless they're changing the name to “2,” that's a mighty long movie.

My understanding is that the first part of the movie won't be in real time so they can set up the story, then the last portion will be in real time. I'm not how much of it would be though.

The movie is supposed to come out in 2008. They said they want to do two or three segments of real time, with travel time in between (so it can have a more international plot and setting).

I love 24, but all pretense of actually being in real-time has completely disintegrated.
The National Guard put up roadblocks and shut down a city in 30 sec, bad guys are considered “lost” after 2 minutes, ambulances arrive and care for the wounded in 3 minutes, and people drive across Los Angeles (Los Angeles!) during commerical breaks.
There is absolutely no need to keep up the charade anymore, because nobody really cares. We love the show anyway.
